Do you want to connect on a deeper level with your clients? If so, then this blog post is for you. Check out these 8 tips that will help you find success in connecting with your clients.

Be honest with them about deadlines, prices, etc.

Make sure your clients know what they have signed up for and be upfront with them about costs, deadlines, etc. If you aren’t completely honest with them from the beginning then there is a good chance that things will go haywire down the road when it’s time to send out those project details or finalize payment methods.

Send thank you cards or handwritten letters after the project is completed.

As a small business owner, you probably don’t have the time to send out thank you notes for everything that your clients do. However, when it comes to completed projects and milestones in a project then this is an awesome way of showing how much they matter to you!

Invite them into your office space or studio if they are interested in seeing how you work.

They are interested in you and what your company does, so why not invite them into where the magic happens? Seeing how things work behind the scenes will not only give them an insight into the way you work but it will also show them how valuable they are to your business.

Ask them how you can improve your service.

Tough love is a great thing, and if you want to find ways of improving the service that you offer then asking your clients what they think may be an excellent place to start. This not only shows them how much their opinion matters but it also helps improve your business!

Be available by phone or email if they need help with anything.

Many clients will have questions about the service that you provide, or things they want to know more about. It is important for them to feel like they can get in touch with you if needed so make sure your contact information is available!

Make sure that you listen carefully to what they are saying and show that you care.

Clients will be more likely to continue doing business with you if they feel like their thoughts are valued. Make sure to listen carefully and make sure that your body language shows them that you care.

Offer incentives for referrals.

Many people are more than happy to help you out with referrals if they feel like there is something in it for them. Offer some sort of incentives, such as a gift card or discount for their business! In addition, offering incentives for referrals shows your client that you value their help. If you’re looking for the best referral software for your business, make sure to check out this article

Maintain contact with your client base even after the sale is complete.

Customers like to feel like they are appreciated and valued, which can lead them to continue buying from you or referring other people to do business with you! Make sure that you keep in touch by following up on their purchase, updating them about a new service you offer, etc. Personally, when I find an interesting article about something relevant to one of my clients, I send them the link to it. This builds up my relationships with clients while also showing them that they are on my mind.

When growing your business it’s important to make client connections a priority. Going above and beyond to ensure you are building lasting relationships with your clients can have a huge impact on your business.
